
From the case receiving a request to help Thai woman who got tricked into working in Myanmar, Ms. Pancake (alias), 25-year-old , who was persuaded through the TIKTOK application to work at a KTV entertainment in Tachileik, Myanmar. However, when she arrived, she got sold by an agency to the grey capitalist groups in the Shan State (Special Economic Zone), Myanmar instead.
After being notified, Pol.Gen.Surachate Hakparn ordered Pol.Lt.Gen. Pananchai Chuenchaitham coordinating relevant agencies in order to bring the victim back to Thailand immediately. Moreover, Pol.Gen.Surachate ordered the investigative team of Child woman protection anti-human and fishery Royal Thai police, Chiangrai Immigration, Chiangrai Provincial Police and Mae Sai provincial Police Station coordinating with the Myanmar side for helping this victim and bring her back to Thailand safely.
On 26 May 2023, Child woman protection anti-human and fishery Royal Thai police investigated the target location where Ms. Pancake was detained and found that the aforementioned place located in Pangsang, Shan State, Myanmar, which is an area in charge of the United Wa State Army. Pol.Gen.Surachate Hakparn (รอง ผบ.ตร./ผอ.ศพดส.ตร.) has coordinated with the aforementioned groups in order to urgently help the victim. Furthermore, on 27 May 2023, the officers successfully helped and took miss Pancake back to Thailand.

Pol.Lt.Gen.Pananchai said that the success of helping this Thai woman back is due to the coordination between the relevant agencies. Next, this victim will go through sorting process according to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM). If the consequence shows that she is actually the victim of human trafficking, we will continue coordinating with the relevant agencies to help as victims. However, if we found that this case is not a victim of human trafficking, there will be prosecution strictly according to the law. In this regard,
